Rowe - Where the air is clean, it's so quiet at night in the winter your ears hurt from listening so intently. The nights are completely dark except for the stars - millions of them. The smells are of nature, earthy, warm. The winters may be longer, the snow deeper, the house much colder but the trade is exhaust, the sound of cars, planes landing over your house and so much light pollution that you only see the major stars. I'll take Rowe any day and some day I will be there for good.

Bill had to use the new splitter this week to split some
of the wood we cut down last week.
And I bought a tiller from Florence that I can use. Did the first pass this past weekend. Told Bill I'm ready to till the entire yard!
I see a much larger garden this year - for many reasons.
