Rowe - Where the air is clean, it's so quiet at night in the winter your ears hurt from listening so intently. The nights are completely dark except for the stars - millions of them. The smells are of nature, earthy, warm. The winters may be longer, the snow deeper, the house much colder but the trade is exhaust, the sound of cars, planes landing over your house and so much light pollution that you only see the major stars. I'll take Rowe any day and some day I will be there for good.

First snow this past weekend. Not much yet but we had about
4 inches. Sophie's plan was to be in every pic today.
Beavers are truly amazing creatures in the size of the trees
they can cut and carry in a very short period of time.
Sophie has to be here too.
Plow in winter.
A good ripper going to warm up the kitchen. This was one
Garden in the first snow.
The weekend was spent finishing the sanding and priming
all of the woodwork. The panels had some primer put on
them before they are glued. Should go in this week. Painting
party this weekend. We are finally seeing the end of this.
